When to Stay Home: Dance Class Attendance Guidelines

NO food in studio, unless specified for special camps. Students attending more than one class may bring a healthy packaged snack.

Water Only!

Students should stay home if they have had any of the following symptoms 24-48 hrs prior to attending a dance class. Your student may take a make-up class once well.

Symptoms can include

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue (to an extreme)
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose (to an extreme-grabbing tissues every minute)
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Our waiting lobby is open, but due to the size of our lobby, we will continue to practice healthier management of our lobby with the following:

A parent, or guardian is welcome to accompany a young dancer (7 and under) into the lobby area and observe student while in class. We are only able to accommodate one or two observers during the student’s class time.
